Proposal - The 28th Amendment: Congress shall pass no law from which they are exempt.
I call it the 'in my shoes amendment'. After all, these people are supposed to represent us. How can they do that unless they understand our challenges. As I said in an earlier comment - Mandate without shared sacrifice is simple tyranny.
Send it to your representatives if you like it. At least it should be discussed.
