Same to you, my friend; I spent the weekend with my wonderful girlfriend of just over four years, but due to the logistics of us working far apart, tonight was not possible. I must say the current economy is not very kind to such romantic holidays for us.

What's your take on the "Watson Wins on Jeopardy" thing?
GHed, It certainly is a step up from Deep Blue. I'll actually be meeting with some of these guys soon on a different project. It's an impressive achievement that shows how far syntax analysis can take you. The practical utility of it of course remains to be seen. IBM has always taken a more 'classicist' approach to AI so it will be interesting.
