K movie fans. Identify the 15 movies from the Pegman Theater productions. If you are the first to name all correctly, you can request that a scene from your own favorite movie be included! No lurking please - take a stand!
Hmm Harry. Interesting take on #3. I can sort of see it. But no. Below is the real scene from 'Broke Back Mountain', so you see the difference.
11 is not War of the worlds - (see below for 1953 version)

Ack!
I can't name all, but perhaps some of my guesses will help a brainier Pliny visitor.
1. Psycho
3. Brokeback Mountain
4. Alien
5. Aliens
6. King Kong
7. Star Wars
8. Lord of the Rings(?)
9. Sleepy Hollow
10. My Favorite Martian(?)
11. War of the Worlds
12. 2001: A Space Odyssey
7 of 11 Harry, not too bad. Not great either ;)
But pegman theater is a bit of a restrictive medium
#2 is 'The Day The Earth Stood Still.'
B u r 1 for 1
#13 American werewolf in London?
LOL
Nope not American Werewolf - the moon is only a cresent.
Ohhhhhhhh, sorry, I thought the shading indicated another person. Something which you didn't repeat, so I should've noticed that.
3. Ghost
# 13 is "Apollo 13".
# 14 "Joe vs. the Volcano"?
Oooh! #10 is "Rosemary's Baby".
I'll take another stab and say that #8 is a film version of "Hamlet".
Ed has this quiz pegged!
Mostly.
only 14 and 15 remain incomplete.
Hint, one is considered the worst movie of all time and one is part of a series.
Good pick up on #13 btw...
8 is my favorite - also a good pickup
#15 = "Lost in Space"?
Nope - not lost in space - these are all movies
well, they did make a movie version of Lost in Space... Gary Oldman played Dr. Smith...
That's true - but it's still not LiS... Though it was an awful movie too
#15 = "Battlefield: Earth"?
Well, you have a point that is a modern contender for worst movie of all time. Not too surprising since the book sucked as well. But no - it's "Plan 9 form Outer Space". The Ed Wood classic. The string on the saucer and tombstones are the dead give away.
Again - splendid pick up on 'Hamlet'.
Ah, that explains it... never saw that one.
I thought that Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was the worst ever movie.
I finally 'got' the pegman thang. the capital P put me off.
Killer tomatoes is bad, but on a big poll years ago, Plan 9 was a clear winner.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is worse in my book.
Final legend:
1-Psycho
2-The Day the Earth Stood Still (original not the sucky modern version)
3-Ghost
4-Alien
5-Aliens
6-King Kong
7-Star Wars (EZ)
8-Hamlet
9-The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
10-Rosemary's Baby
11-Earth vs the Flying Saucers, but Independence Day works too.
12-2001
13-Apollo 13
14-Aliens 3 (m0re people saw it here than in theaters)
15-Plan 9 from Outer Space
Thanks for playing. I'll do this again some time - I'll warn you first.
15-
Dammit! I was thinking "Alien 3" for #14, because I noticed the extra large head on the baby that the woman is holding...
Dammit!
